Itinerary | Mystical Spiti Adventure Tour Package – 6N/7D
Day 1: Shimla to Sangla (Distance: approx. 225 km / 8–9 hrs)
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Shimla to Sangla, winding through charming hill towns like Kufri, Rampur, and the banks of the Sutlej River. On arrival in Sangla, a picturesque valley in Kinnaur, check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by pine forests and snow-capped peaks.
Day 2: Sangla – Chitkul – Nako (Distance: approx. 165 km / 7–8 hrs)
After breakfast, travel to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border, known for its raw beauty and traditional wooden houses. Later, continue your drive to Nako, a tranquil village nestled at 3,662 meters, famous for its sacred lake and ancient monastery.
Day 3: Nako – Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza (Distance: approx. 130 km / 5–6 hrs)
Today, visit Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest functioning Buddhist enclaves in the Himalayas, known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.” En route, stop at Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched above the confluence of Spiti and Pin Rivers. Arrive in Kaza, the cultural capital of Spiti Valley.
Day 4: Kaza – Langza – Hikkim – Komic – Kaza (Distance: approx. 50 km round trip)
Explore the high-altitude villages of Spiti. Visit Langza, known for fossils and the giant Buddha statue; Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office; and Komic, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Return to Kaza for the night.
Day 5: Kaza to Chandratal via Kunzum Pass (Distance: approx. 100 km / 6–7 hrs)
Embark on a thrilling journey through rugged terrain and cross Kunzum Pass (4,590 m) to reach the spellbinding Chandratal Lake, a glacial lake shaped like a crescent moon. Spend the night under the stars at a nearby campsite.
Day 6: Chandratal to Manali (Distance: approx. 120 km / 7–8 hrs)
Leave early for Manali, passing through Batal, Chatru, and the stunning Rohtang Pass. Witness waterfalls, glaciers, and raw Himalayan landscapes on this adventurous route. Arrive in Manali by evening.
Day 7: Manali – Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning exploring Manali or shopping at Mall Road. After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the mountains as your memorable Spiti adventure concludes.
